Proper Ventilation is, or what I hope will become, an initiative to the Body of Christ and an invitation to non-believers into the ‘glorious freedom’ we profess as Christians. That freedom is then lived out, in fellowship with one another, but requires honesty and openness. I am more than willing to be transparent in this project, as you will find, because I know that my pain and experience can be used as an example to other young men and women who are dealing with sin issues, be it pride, lust or resentment. James tells the believers to “confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” There you have it. Confession, followed by prayer. “Proper” Ventilation.(I encourage that you read the AMP (Amplified version) as well)
This initiative begins with “P.V. Vol. 1,” and I plan to continue this series with Volumes 2, 3, so forth and so on as God leads. My music will serve as a voice to the movement. I believe that in order to really impact people, they need to know where you are coming from, and who you are as a sinner. Saved, yet still working out your salvation (Phill. 2:12). As I say in track three (3), “..come join me on this spaceship/ we’ leavin condemnation.. fleein temptation and skippin vacation/ in other words we on a narrow road to emigration/ we got a new destination, headed to “Ex-Shame-Nation.
It has been my solemn regret that I have kept so much to myself up to this point, but it is my greatest joy that God has gifted me by His Grace to share with you all, my friends fans and family, my deepest conviction as written in Revelation 12:11 “They won the victory over him by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony. They did not love their life so much that they refused to give it up.” Give it up!
